At CollectIT our plan is to remain the best debt collection agency in the market, not necessarily the biggest.

Our dedicated team have qualifications in business studies and commercial law, along with extensive experience in debt collection and business administration.

Catherine Clark

Catherine Clark

Catherine was born and raised in Papua New Guinea for the first 18 years of her life. She attended boarding school in Queensland, Australia during her high school years before deciding to brave the winters of New Zealand for her tertiary education.

She completed a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Marketing at Massey before entering the world of sales to hone her sales skills before moving on to a management position. After working for a number of years in the printing and pharmaceutical industries she met with Melanie and they decided to start CollectIT together.

Catherine thrives on the success that her clients are achieving with their debt collection and their debtor management. Making peoples’ lives less stressful when it comes to money outstanding is what it's all about for Catherine and having a fantastic team who are also dedicated to providing excellent customer service makes working at CollectIT a pleasure.

Melanie O'Neill

Melanie O'Neill

Melanie was born and raised in Cambridge. A love of English and Music saw complete a double degree in Law and Music at Canterbury University. She then went on to obtain a Law Degree with Honours from Canterbury University in 1991 and began her career in Auckland.

After some time in Auckland, Melanie returned to the Waikato to work for one of the largest law firms in the area. In 1995 she achieved her Masters in Commercial Law with Honours and then at the tender age of 30 she was made a partner of Tompkins Wake.

In 2000 Melanie focused on building her own practice as a Barrister, which gave her the ability to choose her own hours of work and to devote some time to family and other interests such as running and golf.

Melanie still enjoys her music. She has sung and played piano for a Waikato music group for a number of years and tries to attend as many musical events as she can.

Her background in the legal profession adds an understanding and expertise of the processes involved when dealing with the courts in regard to debt collection.

Toni Snowball

Toni Snowball

Having previously worked for the Waikato Sports Foundation in an administration role and then as an Insurance Assessor, Toni has been with CollectIT since the beginning.

Toni’s role has continued to grow from 3 hours per week to now almost full time as CollectIT has also grown. Toni is in charge of collections and is absolutely fantastic at achieving results for our clients. She has the ability to communicate effectively with both our clients and their debtors, and to achieve outstanding results.

Toni’s biggest driving force for coming to work each day is the satisfaction of getting money in for her clients and having an equally dedicated and reliable team to work with at CollectIT.

Trina Bird

Trina Bird

Trina joined CollectIT in May 2015. She started her career in the Real Estate industry as an office administrator and stayed in this field for many years.

Trina then worked in the finance industry before joining the team at CollectIT.

She enjoys the challenge of debt collection, finding it very satisfying collecting outstanding funds for our customers in both debt collection and ledger management rolls.
